Tuesday, August 19 - AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER (1957)  this poignant and humorous love story pairs Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr.  Too good to miss.
 
Thursday, August 21 - BRIEF ENCOUNTER (1945) a chance meeting in a railroad station is the beginning of a bittersweet romance.  Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard star.  Bring a box of tissues.
 
Saturday, August 23 - LILI (1953) members of a circus troupe "adopt" a naive young girl in this absolutely charming musical starring Leslie Caron and Mel Ferrer.

Tuesday, August 26 - AFRICA SCREAMS (1949)  the comedy team of Abbot and Costello search for diamonds in Africa and encounter some "interesting" obstacles.
 
Thursday, August 28 -     FLYING DEUCES (1939) high flying hi-jinks with Laurel and Hardy vs. the French Foreign Legion.  Guess who wins?
 
Saturday, August 30 - RAISING ARIZONA (1987) a young couple finds a unique solution to their childless problem.  Colorful, unconventional comedy starring Nicolas Cage and Holly Hunter.

Thursday, September 4 - MEET JOHN DOE (1941) a tale of simplicity and political intrigue with a message relevant today.  Brilliantly acted by Gary Cooper, Barbara Stanwyck and Walter Brennan in top form.
 
Saturday, September 6 - A POCKETFUL OF MIRACLES (1961) a wonderful fairy tale featuring the great Bette Davis as boozy, brassy Apple Annie trying to act like a proper lady.
