Holiday Amongst the Trees brought the holiday cheer (and not just Christmas!).
This event is a LHMH tradition and this year kept the Holly Jolly spirit alive...with a twist! Along with the beautiful,
hand-decorated Christmas trees, local synagogue Temple Beth Shalom, Las Vegas Buddhist Temple Padma Rigdzin Ling,
and the Chemehuevi Indian Tribe all incorporated their Winter holiday traditions into the exhibit.
Our official kick-off event featured live performances from Isreal Hendricks, The Havashire Guild Chorus,
Bridget Sandate of the Chemehuevi Indian Tribe, and of course, Santa Claus!

This October marked the first year of the now annual Dia de Los Muertos Festival.
The week of fun was designed to create an interactive, multi-cultural education space outlining the
history and significanceof the traditions of the holiday including papel picado, ofrenda, and a youth education
program with a special viewing of the movie, Coco.

2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the Women's Suffrage Movement.
To celebrate, we partnered with the Smithsonian Institute to bring Votes for Women, a comprehensive exhibit
outlining the historical events and pivitol women who made the success of the female vote possible.
Special presenter, Mary McCord Robinson, shared her experiences as a woman in the workplace trying to build a career
while tackling the norm of patriarchal social constructs.
