Jaime Festa-Daigle serves as the Director of Student Achievement for Lake Havasu Unified School District.  She has served Lake Havasu City students as a teacher and leader for over twenty years. She has taught civics, economics, American History, English, and been an advisor for student council.  She is a National Board Certified Teacher, an AZ Master Teacher, an ASCD Emerging Leader, a past Teacher of the Year/Ambassador and has received many awards including the American Civic Educator of the Year Award, Lake Havasu Most Influential Teacher Award and the Arizona We the People Scholarship Teacher of the Year. Jaime has written standards for the National Board for Professional Teacher Standards and Educators Rising, and has worked as part of the AZK12 Teacher Solutions Team since 2011. She sits on the Arizona Rural School Association AZK12 Center, LHUSD K12 Foundation, Lake Havasu History Museum, and Lake Havasu Rotary Executive Boards.

Jaime is a native Arizonan and moved to Lake Havasu after marrying her husband who is from the area.  They have raised two children (Zoe and Lane) in Lake Havasu City.  She is very proud to live in a family of Lake Havasu High School graduates.  Jaime’s passion is history and civics and spent her childhood on Civil War battlefields and in history museums with her dad.  In her moments of spare time, Jaime is either working on her doctorate or thinking about pugs and how to improve the lives of young people.
