Jillian Usher,

Board Advisor

Jillian is a highly accomplished individual with a strong commitment to the growth and development of our organization. She served as the interim Executive Director of our museum from 2021, assuming the official position of Executive Director until June 2023. Currently, she continues to contribute her expertise and insights as an advisor on our board.

During her tenure as Executive Director, Jillian made significant strides in fostering community engagement and nurturing young talent. Notably, she created and developed our innovative Young Curators Program, providing invaluable internship opportunities for the youth in our community to gain hands-on experience at the museum.

Jillian's visionary leadership and dedication have played a pivotal role in advancing our museum's mission. Despite her transition from the executive role, we are thrilled to have her ongoing involvement as an advisor, and we look forward to her continued contributions in shaping the future success of our institution.

In previous years, she has worked as a professional freelance content writer and with community organizations such as Creative Comrades and First Friday Havasu. She also serves as the Secretary of the Mohave Community College Foundation board.

Jillian received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Mohave Community College, is an alumni of Lake Havasu High School, and is currently her Bachelors of Integrative Sciences in Organizational Leadership at ASU Lake Havasu.
